Job Deliverables
The Ideal Candidate will be able to begin with a clean sheet of paper and build an electrical sensory system to acquire, process and report data to host. The system will require the candidate to:
- Build an analog sensing circuit that acquires raw data from an array of electrodes.
- Convert raw analog input to digital data and processes it using filters and algorithms and makes a decision if a sensory event has taken place
- Report sensory status to a host device

Skills

- Software/firmware experience (C, C++, Assembly, Matlab, etc.)
- Work with ASIC team to convert prototype circuitry into an IC
- PCB design
- Familiar with basic measurement techniques (Logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, function generators, etc.) and signal analysis
- Comfortable with electro-mechanical design
- Board level troubleshooting and testing
- System level ESD, EMI analysis and testing
- Familiar with embedded communication protocols like I2C, SPI a plus
